Obituary
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Masaki Hiraishi, the drummer of BARAKA, on September 12, 2025, following a two-year battle with illness.
He passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, band members, and staff.
In accordance with his family’s wishes, the funeral service was held privately with only close relatives in attendance.
The BARAKA 28th Anniversary Live, scheduled for October 16, 2025, will now be held as a memorial concert in honor of Masaki Hiraishi.
We extend our deepest gratitude for the kindness and support shown to him during his lifetime, and we humbly ask for your continued support moving forward.

BARAKAのドラマー 平石正樹が約2年間の闘病の末 9月12日に永眠致しました。
ご家族 メンバー スタッフに囲まれ穏やかな表情で旅立ちました。
ご家族の意志により葬儀は近親者のみにて執り行いましたことをご報告申し上げます。事後のご通知になりましたこと 何卒ご容赦頂きたくお願い申し上げます。
つきましては 2025年10月16日に予定されていましたBARAKA28周年記念ライブを平石正樹追悼ライブとさせていただくことになりました 詳細は決まり次第発表させていただきます。
生前のご厚意に深く感謝いたしますともに 今後とも変わらぬご厚誼のほどお願い申し上げます。
